Partnership for Coastal Watersheds

Oregon Coast

The Partnership for Coastal Watersheds (PCW) is a local climate change adaptation community collaboration project in the Coos Bay/South Slough coastal region of Oregon.

From the PCW’s website:

“The Goals of the Partnership for Coastal Watersheds are to anticipate and respond as needed to local changes in the South Slough and Coastal Frontal watersheds, and to establish a public forum that facilitates community collaboration and decision making.”

I served as a co-facilitator of PCW Steering Committee breakout sessions and as a note taker for several PCW meetings in 2011 and 2012.   Along with Dr. Gregg Walker and my colleague, Miriah Russo Kelly, I conducted evaluation interviews and surveys, and we produced a PCW progress report in the summer of 2012.
